Getting outdoors to train is an ideal opportunity to mix up your training/running and add in a few strength exercises. Keeps it a little interesting, and might keep you warmer on a chilly day!
Try adding some exercises into your run session. Off road better, as if on the pavement or in Tescos car park might look a bit odd!
Run for 10 minutes, then do 1 set of the following
10 burpees
10 squats
10 press ups
10 lunges
10 low to high planks
10 squat jumps
Run for another 5-10 minutes and do the same circuit
Jog home! Or back to the car. Job done!
